i love this recipe. so does my husband. so do my kids.
i love it because it tastes fabulous and is beyond easy to make: 2 ingredients and a crock pot. they love it because it’s tasty.
this recipe is just for the pork itself, but we add in thinly sliced green peppers and pineapple tidbits for the last 1/2 hour of cooking time. serve it over top of rice and you’ve got a delicious meal.

What brand of sweet and sour sauce do you use? How many ounces?

Hi Holly! I actually moved to the States from Canada a little while ago and a lot of the brands I’m used to don’t exist here! I am still trying to figure out which brands I like/don’t like here. One that I’ve tried and is pretty good is this one: http://www.amazon.com/World-Harbors-Sweet-16-Ounce-Bottles/dp/B001EO5WKO/ref=sr_1_37?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1355760099&sr=1-37 (though obviously not as expensive in stores as it is on Amazon!). I’ve also heard that the Kikkoman sweet and sour sauce is pretty good so I may try that one next. Sorry I can’t help better!
